First major update:
D ear brothers in Christ from HPS, Here are the latest updates regarding the refugee crisis. We have people from Harvest Arad at two main border points (Siret & Sighet) where refugees are come through. There are also other churches from our VCE network, especially Vertical Mamaia, helping at another main border (Isaccea). Listed below are updates from our teams at each specific border point: Sighet Border point about 2000 refugees are passing through each day, most of them are women and children they are helping register and organize the incoming refugees they are collecting food supplies in a warehouse and sending humanitarian convoys each day to Ukraine, some are being sent even as far as Kiev. You will see the pictures attached below Siret Border point The influx of refugees is increasing rapidly. There are between 7-10,000 refugees daily. Temperatures are very low and many refugees have been walking for a long time We are partnering with an NGO (called Remar) in building tents ...
